Your Statutory Rights

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order for any goods purchased from Gwennol  and obtain a full refund, provided that Gwennol has not started to produce your goods.

To cancel this Agreement you must e-mail or write to Gwennol before the expiry of seven working days beginning with the day following the day on which you place your order. Gwennol shall provide you with a refund as soon as possible and in any case within a period not exceeding 30 days beginning with the day on which you give notice of cancellation.

Returns
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us.

By law, you also have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered to you unless the goods are specifically made to your requirements, such as a name or date embroidered on a blanket or cushion, or non standard colours made to your requirements. To cancel your purchase under this cooling-off period, please fill out the delivery slip that accompanies your items, giving the reason for the return as "contract cancellation." Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you. The return address was included with the delivered goods. Goods must be returned as new and unused.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is faulty.

You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us.

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal carriage charge to you. We cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge.

Our Terms and Conditions

Blankets and cushions: ordering and delivery

When you place an order for a blanket or cushion, you should indicate which edging colour you would like and any personalisation and in what colour. To ensure the order is to your satisfaction I recommend you discuss this in advance by email or telephone before you send your order and deposit. Yarn suppliers change their dyes at regular intervals, so colours on the website photo may no longer be exactly similar. As soon as I receive your order and deposit or payment, I will send confirmation in writing by email or letter.  I will also give you an approximate date of completion. The goods will be sent by Royal Mail first class recorded delivery in the UK.

Cushions

Please note that the cushions are not intended as toys. They are secured by a flap and buttons which are carefully chosen to enhance the design. Although the buttons are securely sewn on, the cushions should be kept out of the reach of very young children in case of choking should the buttons come loose.  A button-free flap is available. The cushion pad conforms to BS 5852 furniture and furnishings fire safety regulations 1988.  A cushion cover can be sent without the pad if requested.

Hats

I can change background colours on hats, but I recommend you discuss this before placing an order.

Returns policy

Because all Gwennol blanket and cushion orders are knitted to order, returns and refunds can only  be accepted if goods are faulty or damaged in transit.  Hats can be returned for a full refund or exchange (e.g. wrong size). The customer will bear the cost of the return postage.  This does not affect your statutory rights.
